The late actor's body was interred in his family house in Agunpopo, Oyo State on Sunday, June 19, 2016.

His death comes after the unexpected passing away of the veteran Henrietta Kosoko. Other Nollywood actors who have passed on this year include Sikiru Adeshina, Fatai Onibuade, Mike Odachi, Genevieve Nene, Fred Eketa among others.
