In the words of Nliam, “The process of making Akpos & Company was very meticulous and professional. Majority of the cast were selected during an intensive audition and only about 4 of them were table cast. who played Lovina (Mama Akpos) was on my mind from day 1 and she didn't disappoint performance wise.
'The very talented Eliel Otete who plays Old Major (Papa Akpos) was cast one full year after the first audition and I didn't think twice about giving him the part. Jerry Onwordi (alias Baba Nothing Spoil) who plays Ajaka, was also cast from day one. He had no visible or invisible competition for the role and the major character, Akpos was played by a man, who has literally become the character that has become one of the most talked about,' Nliam revealed.
Mike Nliam, who is the producer of Akpos & Company made fame as a musician and movie soundtrack specialist with over 100 songs to his credit.
