Golden Globe award winning English actress, Helen Mirren has commended Julie Taymor's new flick, saying it's a great idea.

Speaking at the premiere on Monday, June 15, 2015, Mirren thinks making the Shakespeare inspired film is a great idea, even if it doesn’t make big money right away at the box office.

In her words, “Not only can it be shared with a wider audience, but also be shared for generations. Movies like this, they don’t make the kind of money that ‘Mad Max’ does on the weekend, but they’re watched in 10 years’ time, 15, 30, 40, 80 years’ time, people will still be watching this movie.'

Shot during the play’s 2013 run at Brooklyn’s Polonsky Shakespeare Center, the premiere also recorded the attendance of Hollywood star, Anne Hathaway, who starred in Taymor’s one-woman play at the Public Theater.
