"93 Days" premieres in Toronto, receives standing ovation

A compelling human story of dedication, sacrifice, resilience and survival, "93 Days" is directed by Steve Gukas.

The event which started with the arrival of the cast, producers and director had the movie introduced by Cameron Bailey, Creative Director of TIFF.

The premiere was attended by the cast, Danny Glover, Bimbo Akinkola, Keppy Ekpenyong, Somkele Iyamah-IdlahamaSola Oyebode,Associate Producer of 93 Days, Kemi DaSilva-Ibru, Producers/Executive Producers of 93 Days, Bolanle Austen-Peters, Dotun Olakunri and Steve Gukas.

Other celebrities that graced the red carpet are Mo Abudu, Wangi Mba-Uzuokwu, Ireti Doyle, Osas Ighodaro,George Kallis, Adesua Etomi, Zainab Balogun including various dignitaries and international media were also present at the premiere.

The movie screening which took place at the Isabel Bader Theatre was filled to capacity. Guests line up went as far as two streets with everyone eager to watch 93 Days.The movie ended with a standing ovation by the crowd and a Q&A session.

A compelling human story of dedication, sacrifice, resilience and survival, The movie which is directed by Steve Gukas, and produced  byBolanle Austen-Peters, Dotun Olakunri and Steve Gukas, will debut in cinemas on September 16, 2016.

The movie demonstrates the bravery of the late undefinedand her colleagues. From their encounter with the late American-Liberian, Patrick Sawyer, who was the index case of the Ebola Virus Disease, to ensuring that the right medical procedures were in place to stop the spread of the disease in the country.

Starring undefinedthe movie also stars Bimbo Akintola as Nigerian hero, Dr Stella AdadevohGideon Okeke, Somkhele Idhalama, Bimbo Manuel and veteran Hollywood actor, Danny Glover.

Showing in cinemas nationwide from September 16, 2016, "93 Days" will premiere in Nigeria on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at The Rock Cathedral, 4th Roundabout, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.
