"Dr Mekem," and four other Nollywood movies you should see in the cinema this March.

March has quite a number of exciting new Nollywood movies to offer film lovers.

Pulse Movies has rounded up movies coming to the cinemas in March 2018, including "Bound" and "Dr Mekem."

Check out five Nollywood movies you should see in January.

1."Mummy Dearest: The Wedding"

The movie tells the story of a young man, Chijioke Chinda, who was sent to his hometown Port Harcourt to head his company’s project.

He decides to propose to his girlfriend, Boma Koko, who begins to assume the position of a prospective wife, which naturally does not sit well with Chijioke’s mum, Rose Chinda.

An attention tussle ensues between the ladies and culminates with Chijioke and Boma’s big wedding.

Starring Liz Ameye, Daniel K. Daniel, Uti Nwachukwu and Mary Lazarus, "Mummy Dearest: The Wedding" premieres on March 9, 2018.

2. "Disguise"

In "Disguise," Nancy Isime and IK Ogbonna swap gender in an attempt to answer the question: What do men really want and what do women want?

The movie stars Desmond Elliot, IK Ogbonna, NancyIsime, Wale Ojo, Toyin Abraham and Daniel K Daniel.

It will debut in cinemas on March 2, 2018.

3. "Bound"

"Bound" tells the story of Chinenye, a 35-year-old career woman, who suffers numerous scoldings from her family and friends due to her inability to get married.

Elochukwu, despite all of Chineye’s indecisiveness and fear of commitment, remains in her life with a resolve to show her unconditional love.

Unknown to everyone, Chineye has a lifelong secret: She battles spiritual, emotional and physical forces making her emotionally unfit to commit herself to anyone, no matter how hard she tries.

Produced by Lilian Afegbai and directed by Frank Rajah, "Bound" stars Rita Dominic, Eyinna Nwigwe, Joyce Kalu, Nicole Banner, Duke Emmanuel and Neye Balogun.

"Bound" debuts in cinemas on March 16.

4. "Dr Mekam"

In "Dr Mekam," a highly successful diaspora-based Nigerian doctor decides to return home and run for the office of the Governor of Anambra state as "a humble stepping stone to becoming the President of Nigeria."

But navigating through the dark, murky and very diabolical waters of the Nigerian politics proves quite an uphill task for Dr Mekam.

Starring Kalu Ikeagwu, Seun Akindele and Uche Jombo, the movie debuts March 16, 2018.

5. "New Money"

"New Money" tells the story of a young girl, who goes from being a shop girl to a billionaire, after her father leaves her his empire to run.

The film stars Jemima Osunde, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Wale Ojo, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Kate Henshaw.

It also stars Osas Ighodaro, Falz, Wofaifada, Daniel Etim Effiong, Adeolu Adefarasin, KaluIkeagwu, Femi Branch, Odunlade Adekola, Bikiya Graham-Douglas among others.

"New Money" premieres March 23.
