The network and studio 20th Century Fox Television are exploring future iterations of “24,” possibly as an anthology built around the real-time storytelling format of the original series, Variety reports.
Starring "Straight Outta Compton" actor Corey Hawkins as Eric Carter, the revival series revolves around a military hero who returns to the U.S. with a whole lot trouble around him.
After settling with his wife Nicole in Virginia, Carter’s past comes back to haunt him, and with nowhere else to turn, he asks CTU to help him save his life, while also stopping one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.
The series also stars Ashley Thomas as Corey's big brother, Isaac Carter, who doesn't get along with him for marrying his old girlfriend, Nicole.
"24: Legacy" made its debut on February 5, 2017.
