These 10 production companies will probably remind you of your childhood and several Nollywood classics.

In the 90s and early 2000s, it was the norm for some movie lovers to decide what movie to rent based on the production outfit behind it.

Pulse Movies has put together 10 production companies any hardcore Nollywood fan would remember.

1. Ossy Affason

The production company was behind classic Nollywood movies including "Witches," "Scores to Settle," "State of Emergency," "Danger Signal," "Sensational Spy," among others.

Back in the day, Ossy Affason was synonymous with action films.

2. Emmalex Associates

The production company was behind unforgettable Nollywood movies like "Obstacle," "My Cross," "Chain Reaction," "Death Warrant," "Long John," "Intruder" among others.

2. Kas-Vid International

Owned by the late Chukwuka Emelionwu, Kas-Vid produced movies such as "Aki na Ukwa," "Issakaba," "Mr Ibu" and "Last Burial."

4. Amaco Investment

The production company was behind star-studded classics including "1 Dollar," "When God Says Yes," "Romantic Attraction," "Old School," "Holy Cross" among others.

5.  NEK Video Links

"Glamour Girls," "True Confession," "Died Wretched," "Living in Bondage" were some of the classic movies produced by NEK Video Links.

6. OGD Pictures

The Tade Ogidan production outfit produced pop culture staples such as "Dangerous Twins," "Diamond Ring," "Hostages" and "Owo Blow".

7. "Elonel International LTD"

The Tarila Thompson production company  released popular movies such as "Power of Love," "Passion and Pain," "The Last Offer," "My Guy," among others.

The production company gifted us memorable films, including "Lost Kingdom," "Vuga," "Mission to Africa," "Above Death" among others.

9. O.J International

O.J International produced unforgettable classics such as "Oracle," "Igodo," "Keeping Faith," "To Love a Thief," "Honey," "Breakup," "Red Hot," "Dons in Abuja," "Azima" among others.

10. Great Movies Ind. Ltd.

Alongside Ossy Affasons, Great Movies Ind. Ltd released the 1998 movie "Witches" and "Scores to Settle."

Other movies by Great Movies are "Abuja Boys," "Little Angel," "Beautiful Faces," "Billionaires Club," "Escape" among others.

New Production companies in Nollywood

While some of these companies have gone defunct and others are no longer as popular as they once were, Nollywood can still boast of production outfits such as Denzoit, Anthill Studios, Koga Studios, Audrey Silva, Golden Effects Pictures, The Entertainment Network (TEN) among others.
