In 1993, Henshaw auditioned for the lead role in the movie ‘When the Sun Sets’ which was her first appearance in a major Nollywood movie and has since starred in over 40 Nollywood movies.
She has also endeared herself to the hearts of many Nigerians after championing the cause of a little boy, Michael who was diagnosed with Ulcerated Infected Facial Haemangioma.

The actress was recently revealed to have helped to pay the surgical fees for a Nigerian young lady who needed to have a lump in her breast removed.
