The backlash must have caught the attention of Wizkid because a few hours later Wizkid tweeted from the same account that his Twitter account was hacked.

African pop superstar Wizkid surely didn't expect the backfire he got when he tweeted he was single earlier today, July 17, 2015.

After the tweet many of Wizkid's fans on Twitter asked the 'Ojuelegba' star what happened to his on/off girlfriend Tania Omotayo who he first stepped out publicly with since 2012.

Many of his fans did not believe him though as you can see in the tweet below;

The strange thing about this story is that Wizkid's management List Entertainment released a press release revealing that the star boy's Twitter account was in total control of hackers.

This statement was released two days ago. On his birthday yesterday, Wizkid was able to retweet birthday wishes and greetings from his well wishers.

The tweets about his 'single life', and his hacked account have been deleted. Who deleted them, the hackers or Wizkid?

This is not the first time that Wizkid is getting hacked.
