Former supermodel sued for $3 million for breach-of-contract

Fmr America's Next Top Model Angelea Preston reportedly filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, December 10

Tyra Banks has been served with a $3 million lawsuit by Angelea Preston, a former contestant on America's Next Top Model, who was disqualified when The CW got hint she was an escort.

28-year-old Preston, who is a mother of one, reportedly filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, December 10.

In her legal docs, the former contestant claim to had been a strong contender in the compitetion and was originally featured in the final episode of the season before been ruthlessly kicked out back in 2011.

One of the judges, Nigel Barker had explained: "It turns out, our production team and the network learned information from Angelea that disqualifies her from the competition... It means we're now going to do our final judging with the remaining two girls, and in the interest of fairness, the producers and the network thought it best to evaluate Allison and Lisa on their own.”

According to the Associated Press, Preston is now contesting the disqualification. She claims she was treated unfairly and wrongfully denied the prize money plus the other benefits.

Banks is yet to comment on her recent legal trouble.
