September 20th was epic as top Nigerian stars turned up to celebrate with music icon, Tuface Idibia a.k.a 2 Baba who turned 40 in a grand event at the prestigious Eko Hotel in Lagos.
More than ever, the 'Fortified' event pulled out not just his colleagues or those in the music business but music lovers across the nation also showed up in honor of the one man whom many consider a young living legend.
"He's a legend in every sense of the word," music producer Cobhams Asuquo tells Pulse TV. "I think that’s a word used very loosely in this part of the world but Tuface is a legend".
Other stars praised his consistency over the years and his signature 'humility' which has propelled him to greater heights over the years.
"Tuface is magic. There can't be any other one and he is the only one and I'm beyond proud to share this life with him," Ketchup says.
"In an interview he said he got his humility from me," Kenny Ogungbe shared, "But it takes someone who is humble to pick up something from someone else and take it to another level. It's a good thing," he added.
Meanwhile, OAP and comedian, Yaw mentioned the fact that Nigerian artistes need to genuinely listen to Tuface and live his humble life. "The most annoying thing is that those talking about his humility are not humble themselves!" the OAP pointed out.
From songs like 'African Queen' to 'Enter The Place' to big collaborations like 'Flex' with R. Kelly, Tuface has proven beyond doubt that he is a force to reckon with. He's fallen so many times but has been able to rise again and make his life worth being an inspiration.
