The Daily Show new host, Trevor Noah, reportedly underwent an emergency appendectomy this Wednesday morning.

As a result of the medical procedure, Comedy Central has canceled Wednesday night’s broadcast of the show.

The network tweeted out the news, noting that the procedure was a success and Noah will be back behind the Daily Show desk on Thursday.
A rerun ofThe Daily Show is slated to air today, Wednesday, November 4.

Noah, who took over for Jon Stewart in late September, and can be seen in his own Comedy Central stand-up special on November 22.
