Pair boost romance rumour at the 2016 BET Awards

The rumour mill started off with reports of a romantic relationship between the two, when Birdman caught up with Braxton on stage, during her concert in Atlanta, held on June 2, 2016.

The pair of Toni Braxton and music mogul, Birdman, have made an appearance officially as a couple, at the just concluded BET Awards, held on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater.

According to a source who told Us Magazine, the music veterans were spotted holding hands backstage at the event.

“Toni and Birdman spent some time together backstage,”

“They were holding hands.”

Though none of the party has confirmed any report of a romantic relationship between them, Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, already gave her approval concerning Birdman.

She said, "I think he is a nice man,"

"I don't care what others say about him. He is a nice man. He is full of respect."

"Ever since I've been knowing that man, he's been phenomenal”, she told Us Magazine.

Rumours of Toni Braxton’s relationship with Birdman started during one of her recent concerts in Atlanta, on Thursday, June 2, 2016.

The Cash Money Records executive joined the singer on the stage on a special appearance.

When he was leaving the stage, Braxton was reported to have shouted loud to her concert audience, “Respect that man y'all”.
