Ogujuiba, who is a friend to the couple, revealed that she does not think her comments was an act of revenge.

According to her, Tiwa Savage is a big brand, so her comments was possibly her way of preserving her brand prestige.

"I dont believe she did it to revenge. Tiwa is a soft soul. She is not a bitter person. She probably did it to save her brand. She’s the biggest female brand in Nigeria maybe even Africa."

The ThisDay reporter opted not to take sides in the ongoing drama, but mentioned that if she had to, it will definitely be team Tiwa Savage.

Ogujuiba said, "It’s actually shocking because I know Dr Oputa very well. Teebillz mentioned the child in one of his rants on social media."

"The information was revealed by Capital NG so it’s possible Lanre knows a close member for the family."

In the course of her interview with Genevieve Magazine, Ogujuiba noted her displeasure concerning Mavin Records' decision to release the video interview to Pulse TV, instead of ThisDay.

"The interview was meant for ThisDay not Pulse TV but her management decided to release it to Pulse instead. I was quite upset about that."
