Music producer, Timbaland, recently released a new single featuring vocals from late singer, Aaliyah.

The single titled, ’ is part of a larger mixtape by the producer called, King Stays King. Aaliyah’s sultry and smooth vocals can be heard in the track which also features sounds from Timbaland and emcee Strado.

“Aaaliyah…this is for you baby”, the artiste wrote in a tweet before including a link to the song.

Despite the singer’s tragic death in a plane crash nearly fourteen years ago at the age of 22, Aaliyah’s music still continues to circulate with various artistes including her vocals in their tracks.

Although, artiste and producer Timbaland boasts about being the only one to work with Aaliyah’s music, artistes like Chris Brown and Drake have featured her music in their various tracks.

Drake, who has previously openly expressed his admiration for the late singer, featured her vocals in his track, Enough Said, which had been meant to be part of a larger tribute to the late artiste but was cancelled after Aaliyah’s mother had told Drake’s producer she did not want the songs out.

In 2013, an Aaliyah hook was also featured on Chris Brown's "Don't Think They Know" from his album X.

There was also a collection of Aaliyah’s previously unreleased music released in 2002 after the singer’s death in 2001.

However, this new track featuring the artiste’s vocals is a recent release since Timbaland teased never-before-heard Aaliyah music back in August.

The mixtape is intended to be a preview of his forthcoming full-length, Textbook Timbo, which is due out early next year and also features cameos from Young Thug, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Tink, and 2 Chainz, in addition to Aaliyah vocals.
