Dakore Egbuson-Akande was born in Bayelsa State on October 14, 1978, and is the first child of her parents. She attended Corona School and Federal Government Girls' College in Lagos and Bauchi respectively.

Dakore Egbuson-Akande became a major player in the Nollywood industry in the early 2000s where was notable for her roles as the bad girl in a number of movies. Her acting prowess made her become one of the most sought-after actors in the industry.

Dakore has over 50 movies to her credit and hasn't stopped showing that even though she has become a veteran, she still got game! An example is when she starred in the hit movie 'Fifty' where she gave a spectacular display of her acting skills.

Even though Dakore took a break from acting after she got married, the mother of two is back in the business and showing everyone why she was once seen as one of the biggest actors in the industry.

Dakore Egbuson-Akande recently starred in the movie "Isoken" which deals with societal pressure faced by unmarried African women despite their career success. It also focused on the dilemma encountered by a female character who has to choose from a pair of men with unique attractive attributes.

Other top actors featured in the movie include Joseph Benjamin, Tina Mba, Ngozi Nwosu and other interesting personalities.
