Teresa was sentenced to 15 months after she and her husband Joe entered a guilty plea to 41 counts of fraud, following a deal struck with federal prosecutors on March 4, 2014.

The couple was accused of engaging in bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud, which allegedly saw them net over $5 million over a 10-year period. On October 2, 2014, Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in a federal prison; Joe was sentenced to 41 months, followed by potential deportation to Italy. Together, the couple must also pay $414,000 in restitution. Teresa and Joe are allowed to serve their sentences separately, so one parent may stay with their children. Teresa began her sentence first, on January 5, 2015.

But she's was released early from prison to spend the holiday with her family. she has been catching up with husband Joe and their four daughters - Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audrina - after arriving back at her Montville, New Jersey mansion.

According to Dailymail, she also went to her brother Joe Gorga's house for a family Christmas party. She will also start filming the upcoming season of Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Teresa looked radiant in the photos, putting on a brave face despite knowing this would be the last time the entire family would be together at home for the holidays with Joe set to start a 41-month prison sentence next year.

Starting February 5, Teresa will be free to roam as she pleases and to wherever she pleases due to time served for good behavior, though it is likely that it will be around that time that Joe is sent to start his prison sentence.

Teresa will also remain on supervised release for two years starting on February 5 of next year.

Nevertheless, the actress plans to release a book about being a housewife and a convict next year.

She has also co-authored three cookbooks which are all New York Times Best-selling books.
