Couple split after 15 months romance

The duo were the next power couple, just three months after they started dating, they were ranked as the highest-paid celebrity couple by Forbes with combined earnings of over $146 million.

Who would have thought Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris won’t make it to the altar? The pop singer and her Scottish boyfriend are done for good after 15 months of dating.

Their breakup took everyone by surprise, because no one saw the signs that the pair were at the verge of breaking off.

Although, there were rumors that their romance was heading for the rocks, the couple put the last nail on that when Calvin Harris tweeted this:

However, Calvin was the one that called off the relationship, not because he found another girl. The couple split up because the romance was just not there anymore for them. They became more of friends than lovers, that certainly shows that a relationship needs more than friendship.

They are yet to comment on the news of their breakup, but sources close to them hinted that;

"They were just not very compatible in different areas in their relationship. The touring and traveling didn't help. It seemed like they were more friends than lovers," saysthe insider.

"Taylor and Adam had very different group of friends,there were no other women involved with Adam. He did not cheat on her at all. Just not a good match" another source also reaffirms.

Swift, dated Joe Jonas from July to October 2008, and actor Taylor Lautner from October to December 2009.

She was romantically linked to musician John Mayer from late 2009 until early 2010 and dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal from October to December 2010.

Swift, dated political heir Conor Kennedy from July to September 2012, and dated singer Harry Styles from October 2012 to January 2013.

Swift did not date until March 2015, when she started dating Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris.
