Singer inexplicably abandons 2015 Pride Festival

Toni Braxton's younger sister and singer Tamar Braxton has reportedly abandoned her contract with Los Angeles Pride Festival just days before she was billed to perform at the event.

According to the LA Pride Executive Producer Jeff Consoletti, 'The Real' co host was one of the first confirmed acts for the 45 anniversary bash, but has recently gone M.I.A..

Consoletti says they had no choice but to cancel Tamar's performance so they could book a backup - Pop artist Ivy Levan and rapper Angel Haze - and move the production forward. He says when they asked Tamar for an explanation ... they got the cold shoulder again.

Organizers say they’re not going to take legal action since Tamar never collected her paycheck, but the whole thing is weird considering she’s got new music and a TV show to plug.
