Veteran singer highlights refuse problem in Lagos

Veteran Nigerian singer Sound Sultan has advised Lagosians to keep the city clean.

The artiste said this today (October 9) on his Instagram page. He shared a picture of him sitting close to a Lagoon clogged with waste and empty plastic bottles. “Keep Lagos clean” wrote the award winning singer.

Sound Sultan who is a practicing Muslim took his family (wife and three kids) to observe the Eid prayer today (September 24) which marks the beginning of the two day Sallah holiday in Nigeria.

In the black and white picture Sound Sultan is standing with his wife, Farida and their three children. His wife converted to Islam after their marriage.

Last month Sound Sultan complained about the many 'snakes' in the music industry. "This is what I see when I look at the music industry. it won't hurt to be straight forward in life... i tame snakes tho they be dancing to my flute".
