Swedish police have confirmed briefly holding U.S. rapper, Snoop Dogg, on suspicion of drug use after he performed a concert near Stockholm.

Wallen, on Sunday, July 26, 2015, said the rapper was later released and was free to leave the country. Test results would not be available for "some time," he said.

The news was confirmed by the National police spokesman, Fredrik Wallen, who said a police patrol in the city of Uppsala, north of the capital, stopped a car in which Snoop Dogg was a passenger on Saturday, July 25, 2015 evening after a concert.
He was subsequently questioned at a local police station and tested for suspected drug use before been allowed to go.
However, Snoop says he won't be returning to Sweden.
He made the announcement on his Instagram page saying, '2 all my sweden fans U can blame YA police dept for never seeing me again in your beautiful country its allways a few dicks that fuck it up for everybody its been real thank u Jah bless. !! Fuck the police. . And I'm still smokin'
