The Hip-Hop act says he has moved beyond his recent war of words with his former label mate.
In an exclusive interview with THE NET, Skales who is prepping for the release of his solo debut album titled 'Man of the Year' spoke about his current relationship with Wizkid especially after their Twitter spat.
In the short interview Skales said his relationship with Wizkid has always been based on music and nothing deeper than that. He does not even say they were friends when they were signed to Empire Mates Entertainment.
"For me it was just about making music, that’s what brought us together in the first place, it’s not like we are from the same family..." said the artiste.
He also said that he never had a falling out with the Star Boy act. "We never really fell out, the relationship we had has always been about music...I have no bad blood against him, I just want to face my music right now, I’m about to drop my album and that’s all that matters to me right now" stated Skales.
Skales said he is open to the idea of collaborating with Wizkid, and mentioned that he has been waiting a while to work with him, but it hasn't happened because of their busy schedules. "He’s a busy person and I’m a busy person too, I’m doing my own thing too" he said.
