Rita Ora says she's always been her own person despite the constant comparisms to Rihanna and Beyonce.
In a recent interview with HuffPost, the Birtish singer said she has no issues being compared to the likes of Queen Bey and Rihanna but she thinks people still have to find out about her, not as someone they already know.
"I am my own person. I've always love to be my own person. I'm from a little town, I'm from London, I love to sing and love to do my own things," Rita said.
When asked how she really feels about the comparisms, whether it's fair or she's just ok with it, the 'Poison' singer replied, "It all starts with your security… When you are secured about yourself it doesn't really matter who you get compared to. Everyone gets compared to someone else when you first start and no, I don’t take it as an offence …because these artistes I'm being compared to are incredible"
When the host asked if Rita would or wouldn't agree with the fact that people should stop pitting female stars together when they have unique styles and personalities, Ora said she "100% agrees" with the host. And then added: "At least, they are great artistes and not like Shrek or something..."
Rita's new album is set to drop by the end of 2015 and she says, "it's one of my most personal works I've ever done and it's about female relationships."
