Country singer, Randy Rogers is not a happy man after he confirmed the death of his daughter – Rumer Rain – on June 9 via Facebook just six days after her birth.The Randy Rogers Band lead singer first broke the news to local radio station 93Q Country on Wednesday June 10, saying his little girl fought to survive during her short time on earth.

"Rumer passed away last night. She died after a weeklong battle with a very rare condition. She died in our arms and in no pain. She was absolutely beautiful in every way. Her brain however was very sick,'' the mourning dad revealed. Rogers' wife Chelsea gave birth to baby Rumer on June 3, in Austin Tex., sharing the happy news via social media.
"Newest member of the Rogers family, Rumer Rain," the band's official Twitter update read on June 3, alongside a photo of the proud parents smiling with their newborn baby girl. "It's a good day, friends."
