R&B superstar dragged to court by older brother

In his lawsuit, Bruce Kelly states that Robert overworked him without pay after being hired in March to be the singer's personal assistant and driver.

R. Kelly sued

R. Kelly is facing a new lawsuit served to him by his own older brother, Bruce Kelly who claims the R&B superstar owes him a lot of money for his services.

In his lawsuit, Bruce states that Robert overworked him without pay. Says he was hired in March to be the singer's personal assistant and driver and they had a verbal agreement - for $700/week but Bruce would also do food runs and chauffeur Kelly.

Things went north after Bruce started working overtime – 144hours/week - without seeing any green.

According to documents filed with the state labor board in Illinois, Bruce says he sometimes had to wait up to 12 hours in the car for R. Kelly and never got any sleep.

He tells TMZ that he even complained to R. Kelly about the $11,000 in back pay he claims he was owed but his baby brother didn't care. Bruce says he put his foot down after 3 months because he's "not working for nobody, not even his brother, for free."

Now, the site reports that the labor board is still investigating his claim. R. Kelly is still to make a comment
