Basketmouth throws shade at Ex president Jonathan, Maje Ayida apologises to Toke Makinwa, and Mavin singer Tiwa Savage welcomes baby.

Its been quite an interesting week on the entertainment scene and a lot has gone down. Today on Pulse TV News recap we shall be giving you the highlights of the top stories this week.

Starting off with the ace Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, he recently called out the former president Jonathan in a joke saying that all he did during the six years he was iin power, was steal money. He made this statement at his Basketmouth uncensored in houston, Us, airing his thoughts on the corruption he felt was rampant in the last administration.

Still at the Basketmouth uncensored, the comedian also shaded Davido and Dbanj over their wins at the mtv music awards. He claims he doesnt know why Dbanj won an award, and said it was strange for Davido to have won over Wizkid for the best male act. He however apologized on July 23, 2015 on instagram saying it was all a build up to a joke and the video released was edited to make it look like it was a diss.

Moving on, Maje Ayida, husband to the popular On air personality Toke Makinwa has come out with an open apology to his wife for his actions ie, cheating on her. In his instagram post made on July 22, 2015, he expressed his regrets saying: I am writing to express my sincerest apologies to my wife. I was wrong, it is indefensible and I am sorry.I deeply regret what my wife and my family has had to endure. My behaviour has caused a lot of anguish to everyone. Though this matter has been very public in nature, it is a private issue and I would appreciate the opportunity to face it privately. According to our pulse readers, he sounded quite sincere in his apology.

In the last major story of the week, The sultry mavin singer Tiwa Savage has finally put to bed, welcoming a baby boy with her husband Tee Billz. Tee Billz made this announcement on the 22, of July 2015, teasing us with a picture of the baby's hand, with a caption that read; :'. Mavin boss Don Jazzy, also confirmed the news when he congratulated them on twitter, announcing that they had welcomed a baby boy.
