DJ Cuppy speaks about her political ambitions [video]

During her exclusive interview with Pulse TV, DJ Cuppy answered most of the questions intelligently, and with confidence. Her answers were polished and well-thought of.

Celebrity disc jockey DJ Cuppy is quite articulate.

At one point we asked her if she would consider running for a political office in Nigeria because of her poise and confidence.

"I wouldn't say I do, I wouldn't say I don't because I am just so passionate...I was able to get involved with the tourism ministry so I am hopefully looking forward to work with the new officials. I won't put tourism into hard politics but it is a part of our government" said DJ Cuppy.

"I would definitely love to play an active role in tourism. Nigeria has a great side to show that has never been shown before. When I am outside Nigeria, I live in New York I proudly say I am Nigerian. It is so amazing how people are shocked and almost excited at the same time that we have such a diverse culture" she further said.

It is obvious that the young lady is so passionate about Nigeria. "A lot of people are surprised when they see how passionate I am about about Nigerian culture, even in the way I dress. And I think that I am an advocate for the country outside of Nigeria. I am very passionate about getting myself involved [in] representing the country outside as well. A lot of people question that. I think that right now in Nigeria we are going through a very difficult time where a lot of people are losing faith in the country" said DJ Cuppy in her Pulse TV Exclusive story posted yesterday (August 4).

On Saturday, August 1, 2015 DJ Cuppy kicked off her Africa tour in Lagos at the the Federal Palace Hotel. Prominent guests who showed up at the event were Aliko Dangote and her father Femi Otedola.
