Pulse Nigeria readers are asking Jason Derulo to apologize to South Africa for reportedly insinuating that they can neither speak or understand  the English language.

 

The pop star was accused of insulting his South African fans during his performance at this year's ANN7 South African of the Year Awards on October 17. apparently midway into his show, he asked the crowd if they could "speak English."

Although the 'Wiggle Wiggle' singer later explained via Twitter that his comment was meant for a particular group of people, fans still insists he should say he's sorry for what he said, which he is yet to say.

 

As for as our readers are concerned, the pop star NEEDS TO APOPLOGIZE to South Africans.

58.1% of our readers say Derulo should apologize for his comment. While 41.9% claim he doesn't owe South Africans an apology either because he's already given one or he's explained to whom his remarks were meant for.
