5 Nigerian celebrities Davido has had beef with

From MC Galaxy to Dele Momodu and Wizkid, apparently Davido has had a beef with almost every celeb.

1. MC Galaxy

Back in 2015, it was reported that Davido and his boys beat up MC Galaxy.

What led to the beat down started with an argument between B-Red (Davido’s cousin), and MC Galaxy.

MC Galaxy claimed he was more popular than B-Red. The HKN act disagreed to the statement saying he was more popular than MC Galaxy.

Davido waded in on the argument and told MC Galaxy to leave the studio because he did not like him insulting his artists.

Before Galaxy could react, Davido hit him on the back.

Then his driver, Lati, took over, punching Galaxy and then hit him on the head with an Orijin bottle.

MC Galaxy was contacted and he confirmed the assault happened.

Although Davido later refuted the claims, saying that he had not been involved in the incident.

2. Dele Momodu

The dispute between both parties started in December 2015 when the 23-year-old artist disagreed with Sophia, his baby mama, who is Momodu’s cousin.

Sophia foiled an attempt by Davido to take his daughter to Dubai without her consent, and this led to a spat.

Davido later apologised for his actions, saying Momodu could have handled the matter in a better manner. But he was not done.

First Davido created the evergreen line on Humblesmith’s breakout single – ‘Osinachi’ – which was hugely instrumental to the success of the singer.

Davido’s opening reads like this: “My humble father sinachi, My loving daughter sinachi mo, My baby mama sinachi, Dele Momodu,  sinachi mo. No be by force to go Dubai, Abi na wetin cause the fight…”

But Davido was not done. In his next verse which he supplied for Falz’s ‘Bahd, Baddo, Baddest”, he came through with the killer line of them all: “Mr Dele na my boy Dele na my boy.”

Reacting in an interview with JOY NEWS, a Ghanaian station, Momodu said Davido cannot say such to his face.

3. B-Red & Shina Rambo

The trio clashed earlier in 2016 over Davido's sentiments towards new signing, Mayorkun, who had just released his first single, 'Eleko'.

The special attention on Mayorkun made them exchange tirade on social media.

On Sunday, April 17, 2016,  Davido wrote, "My own blood hating on me .. Over MAYORKUN’s success wow !!! I’ve done so much for u .. U still no blow !! FUCK OUTTA HERE!! Hater oshi".

"You don do over 10 videos and nothing happened, so don’t bring ur anger to me please."

4. Wizkid

The duo's beef almost has no beginning. Ever since Davido shot to fame he has been involved with one fracas or the other with Wizkid.

Fans can almost not remember what caused their fight. They've since settled and are no longer at each other's throats.

5. Ice Prince

Davido and Ice Prince were reportedly involved in a brawl in Warri, while in town for a show, Delta Alive.

The show organised by CEO Quillox club, Shina Peller, saw Davido, Lil Kesh, Ice Prince, CDQ and others as headliners.

The drama reportedly began when a G-Wagon was sent to pick Davido up from the airport, while a saloon car was used in picking Ice Prince.

According to the reports, Ice Prince was reportedly infuriated by the gesture and bared his mind to the organisers of the event.

Whilst the organisers may have lent a sympathetic ear to Ice Prince's complaint, Davido was reportedly infuriated.

The situation escalated during the concert when Ice Prince was made to perform before Lil Kesh, which was seen as an insult as the former is a bigger artiste.

Of course, Ice Prince made an issue of this and Davido who already had an axe to grind with the 'Aboki' singer, spoke up in Lil Kesh's defence and things got messy real quick.
