In what can be referred to as the ultimate image of reminiscence, Whitney Houston and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, can be seen dancing to Princes “Raspberry Beret” in a 2011 clip that made rounds on the internet just days after the “Purple Rain” singer’s untimely death on Thursday, April 21.
At some point in the video, the “I Will Always Love You” singer looks straight at the camera as she points proudly at her daughter. Bobbi Kristina then wraps her arms around her mom in a big bear hug.
The evening after the video was made, Whitney Houston joined Prince onstage, singing few lines and dancing with the “When Doves Cry” before being back offstage after she had sung a few lines and danced.
Less than one year later, on the eve of the 2012 Grammys, the singer was found dead in the bathtub at her Beverly Hills hotel room.
Bobbi Kristina died on July 26, 2015 at the age of 22, after spending nearly half a year as a result of her near-drowning in a bathtub of her Atlanta home.
And most recently, Prince was recently found dead in an elevator at his Paisley Park residence in Chanhassen, Minnesota, at the age of 57.
