Legendary producer to get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The seasoned beat maker receives another accolade in his already glittering career.

Super producer Pharrell Williams is set to have his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on December 4, 2014.

The news was broken by Variety Magazine's Twitter account. The Neptunes front man will receive the 2,573th star on the walk of fame.

"We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year" said Maureen Schultz, Chair of the Walk of Fame Committee on this year's inductees.

Other inductees include; Pitbull, Kool & The Gang, Will Ferrell and Kelly Ripa.
