Actress loses dad to heart attack

Eduardo Cruz Snr. suffered a heart attack in the early hours of June 18 and died later that same day.

Hollywood actress, Penelope Cruz has lost her father who died on Thursday June, 18 at the age of 62.

According to HOLA magazine, Eduardo Cruz Snr. suffered a heart attack in the early hours of Thursday morning and died later that same day.

He's mourned by his three children – Penelope, Monica and Eduardo Jr – from his first marriage to Encarna Sánchez.

Eduardo Sr married Carmen Moreno in April 2014 at the Palace Hall of Cartagena and the couple have a three-year-old daughter Salma together.

Carmen and Eduardo managed a hair and beauty salon together near their home in La Manga after first meeting 12 years ago when Eduardo was on holiday in the town.
