Monarch appoints Ara as cultural ambassador

Ara was presented an appointment letter from the office of the monarch, confirming her new position.
The female drummer made a post on her Facebook on May 20, 2016, where she showed off the appointment letter.
She wrote, "My appointment letter from His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi the Ooni of Ife."
This appointment is in recognition of Ara, as a good custodian of the Yoruba tradition.
Ara's interest in the talking drum is as a result of her early exposure to the cultural values of the Yoruba land.
She was born into an Ondo family with a rich belief about their culture, which opened her up to many festivals showcasing the richness of the Yoruba culture.
