The Olori of Ife was seen with a bump at an event recently. Could it be that the Queen is pregnant?
No official announcement has been made yet about the Ooni of Ife expecting an heir to the throne but if the Olori's bump is anything to go by it will just be a matter of time.
In June 2016, Olori Wuraola Otiti made headlines after she made controversial statements about the role of women in the modern society.
The Olori clearly stated that she is not a believer in gender equality and women shouldn't aspire to be equal with men but understand that they have their own pivotal roles.
She said "the modern pattern of feminism has succeeded in limiting women of the heights they could reach; gender equality is unrealistic. We can never be equal with men, we are here for a great purpose, we have our roles to play we are powerful and we are a force of nature."
The Ooni of Ife got married to Olori Wuraola Otiti on March 12, 2016. The Olori hails from Edo state and she is the Ooni's second wife. The Ooni's first wife was Adebukunola Ogunwusi. Their marriage collapsed due to irreconcilable differences.
