Nollywood actress to be honoured in UK

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is set for recognition at the 2015 Women4Africa awards in the United Kingdom.

 

Time acclaimed Nollywood Queen, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is set for recognition at the 2015 Women4Africa awards in the United Kingdom.

Scheduled to hold on Saturday May 9, 2015 at The Great Hall, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, the super actress would be honoured alongside Princess Deun Adedoyin Solarin, Anna Vanderpuye, Kate Anolue, Adele Davis-Boe, Nimi Akinkugbe and Oluwatoyin Sanni.

Born in 1978, Omotola made her debut in Nollywood in 1995. Since then she's appeared in over 300 movies.

In 2012, CNN Travel listed Omotola's accent on their list of the world's 12 sexiest accents and in 2013, she was named one of the most influential people in the world by TIME Magazine for their annual TIME 100 list.
