Actress, Tiwa Savage named Africa’s top fierce women in entertainment

Africa.com has compiled its list of top fierce women in the entertainment industry in Africa, and Nigeria’s

Yesterday, March 17, 2016, Omotola took to Instagram to share the news to her fans and followers.

According to the website, the women on the list were selected based on how they had caught the attention of the world by showcasing Africa through their movies, stories and music.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who was recently awarded the Female Entertainment Personality award at the just concluded City People Social Media Awards, is one of the most successful actresses in Nollywood with about 300 films under her belt. In 2013, she was named as one of the ‘Top 100 Influential People in the World’ by TIME Magazine and has been honoured both home and abroad.

Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru is one of the top OAPs in Nigeria today and outside of her radio work, she also contributes to the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 show and twice served as a judge for the Channel O Music Video Awards.

Mavin Records’ Tiwa Savage has worked with big names in the American music scene such as Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan and Kelly Clarkson.
