Actress angry over APC’s decision to exclude Fashola

A senior source within the APC stated that Fashola would not be considered for the Vice Presidential ticket to contest at the 2015 elections because he is a Muslim.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has expressed her anger over the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to exclude the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola from its Vice Presidential ticket for the 2015 elections.

Omotola criticized the decision and the system which she said leaves out leaders like Fashola and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke.

The actress tweeted:

“We are tired of "the" Tired zoning and religious system! We want Dynamic outstanding Leaders! No more business as usual. #Change #Courage”

The APC source attributed the party’s decision to a warning given by former President Olusegun Obasanjo against the fielding of two candidates of the same religion.
