Actress joins league of lifesavers, donates blood

Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli donates blood to save lives, encourages fans to give a gift of life to someone this Christmas.

It's a season of love, and Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli is choosing to show her love by saving a life this season.

The Award winning Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli took some time off her last day on movie set in Abuja to visit the National Blood Transfusion service to donate a pint of blood.

Omoni took to her Instagram page to share the information as she encouraged her fans to donate and save a life this season.

"Give a gift of life this Christmas! On my last day on the movie set in Abuja, I went to the National Blood Transfusion service  to donate a pint of blood. It was so fulfilling and rewarding and I felt like a hero.

I was giving someone life! It's important to donate blood cos you never know, the life you save, might even be yours! It could save a pregnant woman, an accident victim, a very sick person or even 4 kids! If you can't give gold or silver, give blood! It's more precious!"
