OJB died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, following complications reported to have arisen from his Kidney ailment.

OJB's wake keep and tribute which took place today at O’jez event center, National Stadium, Surulere, kicked off at 5pm, starting with songs of praises.

In attendance were some of the entertainment industry's popular faces such as: K- Solo, Essence, Rasqie, DJ Humility, KSB, Okey Bakassi, Sammie Okposo, Lara George, Azadus, Dj Boombastic, Grace Amah, Dj Gosporella, Jazzman Olofin and Ruggedman.

Comedian Okey Bakassi kicked off the event at 5:30pm and brought on Sammie Okposo who led a praise and worship session.

The late producer battled with kidney problems since 2013 and was flown to India for a transplant. However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise.

The late singer sadly passed on while preparing for his 50th birthday slated for 4th of July this year. The father-of-eight will be laid to rest tomorrow, Friday, July 8, 2016 at Ikoyi Cemetery, Ikoyi, Lagos.

May his soul continue to rest in peace.
