Miley Cyrus Banned From Performing In The Dominican Republic

Critics allegedly declared that Cyrus' stage acts, which most times includes twerking and crotch-grabbing is immoral or vulgar.

Miley Cyrus has been banned from performing at a September 13 concert in the Dominican Republic by the government commission based on morality grounds.

According to a statement released by the commission on Thursday, their decision is based on the fact that the pop singer often 'undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by the Dominican law.'

Meanwhile, other critics allegedly declared that Cyrus' stage acts, which most times includes twerking and crotch-grabbing is immoral or vulgar.

There's been no comment from her the singer's reps so far as well as from the concert organizers in the Dominican Republic, according to UK's Daily Mail.

The commission in the past has banned songs it considers vulgar from the airwaves, including some by Calle 13 of Puerto Rico.

Miley - nominated for Video of the year - is expected to attend the up coming MTV Video Music Awards to hold on Sunday [Aug. 24] in Los Angeles.

Questions is; will the pop diva pull off another outrageous stunt to match her controversial 2013 twerking duet with Robin Thicke?
