Singer admits she still loves Lewis Hamilton

The former Pussycat Dolls star tells The Sun paper, February 3: "I love Lewis and I know he loves me."

Nicole Scherzinger says she still loves her ex, F1 champion, Lewis Hamilton despite their shocking split early this week.

The former Pussycat Dolls star admitted to this in a recent interview with The Sun paper Wednesday February 4, in London.

Arriving for her performance of Cats in central London yesterday, Scherzinger looked distraught but she broke her silence on the split.

"I'm devastated that it didn't work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together," she told The Sun.

She however admitted that both of them remain connected by the deep love they share despite hanging their love boots for the fourth time.

"I love Lewis and I know he loves me. We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I'm trying to stay strong in my faith right now."

The Sun also claims, although the couple is trying to put a united front post break up, a source alleged that part of the reason for their latest split was due to a series of rows over the festive period.

Other reports claim the 36-year-old singer parted ways from the British sports star, 30, due to the pressures of a long-distance relationship.

Nicole told the Daily Telegraph just last week, "I have made sacrifices. I've left LA, left all my friends and my family. It's sacrificing your time in relationships, with loved ones..."

Meanwhile, a downtrodden Hamilton was spotted at the Jerez racetrack in Jerez de la Frontera, Southern Spain on Wednesday.

If both appear so sad after throwing a sweet 7-yr-relationship into the trash can, why can't they just make it work again?
