Nicki Minaj is also famous for dressing in the skimpiest of clothing when it comes to her stage appearances but the rapper was looking far from that when she hit a bar mitzvah for 13-year-old Matt Murstein in New York on April 25.

According to Jewish law, when Jewish boys become 13 years old, they become accountable for their actions and become a bar mitzvah. A girl becomes a bat mitzvah at the age of 12.

The 'Anaconda' rapper showed up at the Pierre Hotel in NYC to usher the young boy into adulthood in a little black dress which showed off her famous curves but was covered up in all the right places.

Reports say the Grammy nominee performed seven songs and then jumped around to meet and greet Matt and his young friends.

Nicki wasn't the only superstar present. Others who made cameos via video include Bob Costas, Patrick Ewing and John Starks.

Baseball legend Hank Aaron and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo also showed up.

So, bottom line is Nicki dressed appropriately for the occasion. Kuddos!
