The American rapper took to her Twitter handle on November 15 to recognize and appreciate the popular dance move.

"Big S/O to Lagos Nigeria hitting the #Shoki Bigup love yall," she Tweeted.

The popular rapper, singe r and songwriter released a new single off her forthcoming album and its called 'Where They From' (WTF), featuring Pharell Williams. Besides the fact that the song is getting attention because its great, its getting attention from Nigerians because of something else; her Shoki dance!

There were doubts from people that what appeared to be shoki moves was probably just a coincidence. But on Sunday 15th of November, Missy tweeted a shoutout to the home of Shoki; Lagos, Nigeria.
