Just as we predicted, Miley Cyrus has responded to Nicki Minaj after the rapper slammed her in a recent interview with The New York Times.
Apparently, Nicki told the mag that if Miley wants to continue associating herself with 'Black Music' then she should try to understand the struggles that "black women" in the music business go through. Her speech came after Miley suggested that Minaj was wrong in coming after Taylor Swift during their Twitter feud over the VMS' Best Video of the Year nominations in August.
Now a source tells HollywoodLife that the 'Wrecking Ball' singer is "super pissed" that Minaj reminded us all of their VMA battle in the interview and Nicki is "pathetic" for not being able to let it go!
“She may respond but she isn’t in a rush to give Nicki more press," an insider tells the site, "Nicki keeps bringing things up because that’s all she has. She can’t let it go! Miley thinks it’s a bit pathetic and most likely will not retort via a song or anything like that. At most, she might do an Instagram joke…but don’t hold your breath," source adds.

It all began when Nicki called Miley out for talking about her in an interview days prior to the VMAs. “And now, back to this bitch, who had a lot to say about me in the press the other day. Miley — what’s good?!” the 32-year-old retorted during the show. Things eventually died down, but Nicki’s NYT Magazine interview was published on Oct. 7, and the whole thing could resurface.
