Michael Fassbender Did actor diss Ashton Kutcher over 'Steve Jobs' movie role?

Before Fassbender took up his Steve Jobs role, Ashton Kutcher attempted on the epic challenge of portraying the late tech guru for the 2013 biopic 'Jobs'; which sadly, met with little critical acclaim.

Michael Fassbender is the new man to attempt on bringing the famous Apple founder Steve Jobs in his new biopic, 'Steve Jobs' directed by Danny Boyle.

But before he took up the role, Ashton Kutcher attempted on the epic challenge of portraying the late tech guru for the 2013 biopic 'Jobs'; which sadly, met with little critical acclaim.

So, during a recent press conference in New York, Fassbender was asked how he prepared for the role of the iconic tech innovator.

"I studied Ashton Kutcher," Fassbender joked, ribbing the former 'Two and a Half Men' star for his highly publicized attempts at method acting to get into the role of Jobs two years ago.

It's wasn't an all-out insult, but the early ringing of award season buzz for Fassbender and the his forthcoming film can't feel good for Kutcher, whose own efforts to put the Apple founder's life on the big screen met an epic failure.

Looks like Fassbender only took a short cut to get into character, something Kutcher had to use an entire year to learn about the man he was to bring to the screen.

So, we'll just have to wait and see how this potential rivalry develops. Maybe Kutcher could snag the role of Magneto in the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' films once Fassbender decides he's tired of superhero movies.
