Cameron, the son of veteran Hollywood actor, Michael Douglas, has been released after about seven years behind bars.

The young actor was arrested by the Drug Enforcement Administration having found in possession of 0.5 pounds of methamphetamine.

Based on US laws, such act is sufficient enough to charge a felon to court, as it could be interpreted that such a person had an intent to distribute the substance.
