Todays man crush is the bubbly juju legend

He took the Nigerian entertainment scene by storm back in 1989 when he released his electrifying debut album "Afro-Juju Series 1" it went double platinum and was the career breakthrough which catapulted Sir Shina Peters back into the limelight.

His music is a fusion of juju, afrobeat, and intense Fuji-style percussion.

Shina Peters began his career while playing the guitar with General Prince Adekunle before forming his own group with Juju Maestro Segun Adewale.

With a cult of "Shinamaniacs", Peters swept Nigeria back in his heydays and was once awarded Juju Musician of the Year.

His follow-up album broke new ground in its use of synthesizers to complement the Fuji drumming, he is still regarded as the creator of the music genre, afro juju.

He currently has 16 album releases to his credit and has sold millions of albums worldwide.
