"God spent years preparing me for you"

Popular OAP and her fitness professional hubby exchange romantic messages to each other on their first wedding anniversary.

Toke and her fitness professional boo were always in the news for their seemingly never ending tales of break ups and make ups and on January 15, 2014 they delivered a shocker when they announced they were officially married without any prior announcement of a wedding.

Maje Ayida who owns a fitness and lifestyle company called Eden Lifestyle shared the most heart warming message to his darling wife Toke saying:

“He found her most beautiful not when she was all fancied up, but when she wasn't. When she was lying on the carpet, her hair all a mess, laughing about something that happened years ago. When she wasn't trying to impress anyone, and taken down that wall she built for most people. That's when he couldn't take his eyes off her'. Thank you@tokemakinwa for giving me light. Happy paper anniversary to my darling wife.@tokemakinwa it may be one year on paper, but God spent years preparing me for you”

Toke Makinwa sent out an equally sweet message to her husband "Happy Anniversary to the Captain of my ship, it feels like it was only yesterday we started this journey of ours, it's been 365 days of God's Favor on us. It takes a real man to love a woman like me, it is a lot of work, I'm not the easiest person in the world to manage but you do it effortlessly. You love me flaws and all and for that I will always say "You the man". I thank God each day for you, you support and defend us so fiercely and even when the skies are grey I know I can count on you. Here is wishing us a 100 more years together, loooooooool okay maybe 80. We would be old, wrinkly and without teeth but may our jokes still be funny, may love fill our hearts still and may we look back on our lives and smile deeply. May God give us the grace to LIVE. I love me plenty of you"

Congratulations to the couple.
