Alongside the Kenyan Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong'o waswriter-actor Danai Gurira both looking gorgeous as they attended the African war drama Eclipsed play's opening night at The Public Theater in Manhattan.

Lupita graced the event wearing her good-looking natural hair in a twist across her hairline, and complimented her gown with pink lipstick and bright pink laced heels.

The play brings to life the decisive roles women played in the second Liberian civil war. Originally written by playwright and Walking Dead actor Danai.
While Danai also looked classy in a blue and silver embossed dress with a belted waist.

Lupita stars in the drama, along with Pascale Armand, Zainab Jah and Saycon Sengbloh.
Also among the actors that appeared in the play was Ghanian actress Akosua Busia, who was also at the event spotted wearing a bright green headress and long skirt in a bright African fabric.
The play runs in theatre until November 26.
