The Oyo State born mother of three had already made plans to celebrate her birthday with her family and close friend in New York, USA, she also unveil her pet project that has been in the works for a while.

Yoruba Nollywood actress Laide Bakare held her birthday party in New York alongside launching her new charity foundation called the Laide Bakare Foundation. A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) set up by the actress in conjunction with her trustees to put focus, emphasis and concentration on the girl child in the fight against the scourge of early marriages that leads to complications in the girl child as a result of getting Vesicovaginal Fistula (VVF).

On Wednesday, 7 October , 2015. Popular Yoruba actress and movie producer turned 35. She released a family photo with her kids who share the same birthday month. Damilare will be two years old, and Moshopefunoluwa will be a year old this month.
